so by the title you would assume that this post is self-explanatory, but there are two parts to it in fact.
[1] i hate the stupid guys at clubs these days. i'm not a big "clubber" but me and my girlfriends do enjoy going down to places like chillers to get cheap drinks and dance. but why is it that guys no longer feel a need to ask you to dance they just assume because they have a penis that it is their inherint right to dance with you...hrmm...and lets see, if a guy does decide to so rudly come up and dance with me without asking, why is it necessary for him to feel me up on the dance floor? when did dry sex become dancing? i remember the days of the macareana and the train! days when sure there was grinding but i mean people these day are insane on the dance floor, in fact i'm sure some of the girls i saw there last week left with a bun in the oven. what happened to all the nice guys? did they all decide that the "nice" thing wasn't working out for them and become assholes? i've danced with enough assholes, hell i've dated enough assholes! for once it'd be refreshing for a guy to ask me to dance, to buy me a drink just because he wants an excuse to talk, tell me i'm beautiful, make me feel like i'm the only one in the room and all without an alterial motive....*sigh*
[2] i'm 21, i'll be 22 in 4 months, so i'm not exactly a kid but i don't quite consider myself all grown up either. but i am to the point where i'd like to do more than just club type dancing. i want to dance, really dance. i know how to do the basic waltz and what not and if i am taught a dance, no matter how complicated the steps, i will master it, perfect it but i am a bit of a control freak and have never learned simple to dance, with out a pre concived set of steps, i've never been able to just "go with the flow" so to speak. i just want someone to dance with, someone who won't make fun of me (too much) when i start to go one way b/c thats the way we went last time...i want someone i can dance with till we can't dance anymore and we fall to the ground laughing...impossible? so far, yes. once again, *sigh*

...defying gravity and my so called life...
so a few of you have asked me about the 2 tag lines i use all the time on myspace, facebook and well in general conversation: defying gravity and my so called life ... so here's the story:
[defying gravity] - for those who aren't aware, defying gravity is a song from the broadway play wicked. an absolutly amazing play that liz and i lucked into seeing last december in new york, we ended up 5th row center, pretty bad ass. so defying gravity is my way of saying i can do the impossible and i will. i hope that explains that, now on to number two....
[my so called life] - partially from the 90's tv show on mtv with claire daines, further influenced by the song by the ataris but in a nut shell it's simply my way of saying that this what i portray on a daily basis is simply my so called life. its very seldom i let someone in beyond that, beyond my so called life and into simply my life...
so theres that, anything else just ask!

...numero uno...
so i've finally given into technology....
i've always kept a "journal" of some kind, but i'm finally going hi-tech with it...
so exciting things in my life:
[my condo] - so finally 96% complete! for those who haven't seen it, you're missing out bit time, it rocks! if i could only use 2 words to describe it, they'd be "urban loft"! got rid of the carpet, the dungeon like colorings brought on by my ex, and the horrific painting of the grip reapper and added ME to the mix: blonde wood floors, light coloring, a fully stocked bar, pier one accessories everywhere, and 6 wonderful paintings that were created specifically to fit my space!
[goo goo dolls] - i got tickets to go see the goo goo dolls in tampa in august! i'm by far not their biggest fan yet one of my best friends bri is! shes been obcessed with them for years yet never seen them in concert, so as a surprise i got us tickets to go see them! needless to say she's stoked! i pretty much rock, i know!
[paris for new years] - last december liz and i went to new york for a week and had a blast, got lost alot, but had a blast, were called hookers a number of times, but had a blast, had a visitor in our room which we named "willie the wildlife", but had a blast. we were planning to go again this year but for the same price we can spend a week in paris instead. so now we're planning on getting lost in a foreign country! we want to go over new years and i found a great apartment we can rent cheaper than a hotel in the theater district of paris and for $384 USD for the 2 of us we can get tickets to see the real moulin rougue procedded by dinner at altitude 95. if that doesn't sound familiar, altitude 95 is the one and only resturant "IN" the eifel tower....not to shabby! more details to come...
